The Ride of Life

Everyone alive is given the gift of life, but it‘s up to each individual to be awake for this gift so when your final destination is reached (the end of life) you can say, what a ride…

Everyone who is alive is experiencing the gift of life. There is no stagnation as life is always moving forward whether we are aware of it or not. It’s like when you take a trip that requires a plane to get to your destination, after the plane takes off it’s not even noticed you’re moving. This is how life is and before it’s realized your ride is over and you’ve reached your destination. Unfortunately during your ride if all you did was sleep you missed the entire trip; you cannot go back and repeat it because you have already reached your destination.

When you have reached your so called final destination (the end of life in this form), if you were sleeping, you’ve missed what occurred on your trip. So you can either be awake for your life or you can be asleep. But life will go on either way and once your destination is reached your ride is over. The key is to not be sleeping for the ride (most are) and only wake up when you reach your final destination. By then your ride (life) is over and the tragedy in this is you now realize you have been sleeping for most of your life; this is how far too many lives finish up. There will come a time when it‘s realized your ride is now complete, but if you were sleepwalking for most of it there’s nothing you can do to go back and redo what has been done; don’t let this be your life’s end result. Everyone alive is given the gift of life, but it‘s up to each individual to be awake for this gift so when your final destination is reached (the end of life) you can say, what a ride…
