Developed Habits

As we grow up we develop in a way that the habits in place allow for the development to be as it is. Simply put, if our developed habits were based in love humanity would be much different…

As I look back, I see how many of the habits I developed were just a part of what was there growing up. Nothing particularly right or wrong in this, especially because there wasn’t much that I could have done differently. It’s very difficult to act in a loving manner if that’s not what’s in place growing up. Some things are learned naturally, but everything takes some habitual development associated with it. If you’re learning how to golf, at first it’s awkward with no knowledge as to the best way to do it, but the more you do it the more habitual it becomes. This is a good thing if what you’re learning is based in love, but part of the problem is when what becomes habit isn’t based in love because unfortunately it too becomes natural; this is why it’s so hard to change. I knew what was right (loving) and what was wrong (selfish) growing up, but doing what was loving was not what was developed so being selfish was natural to me and there wasn’t anybody who could tell me different because that’s all I knew.

To say the least, this selfish development caused much suffering because with this conditioning in place, there wasn’t any room for much else to be seen. This is the merry go round most people are unknowingly on and it’s a direct result of why humanity is the way it is. If we all grew up with our development based in loved, humanity would be much different, it’s that simple. I know this because nine years ago I began developing a different base (one of love) and lo and behold things began changing. It doesn’t mean it’s always this way, but just as it is with learning to catch a baseball, it takes practice, and in this case it’s done so the loving behavior becomes as natural as the earlier development of being selfish was…

False Self Reality

Until it’s understood that it’s the false sense of self that attaches to thoughts, your thoughts will continue their dominance over you because of the false self energy they’re given…

When it comes to being free from your thoughts, very few people truly let go of the thought of self so they remain in captivity to their thoughts. This is the reason why things are the way they are in the world. It has nothing to do with what’s occurring because our thoughts are responsible for what’s occurring. If the thought of hate didn’t exist, the actions that the thought of hate produces wouldn’t exist. What would happen is life would naturally produce actions of kindness, compassion, love, and whatnot because that’s what’s arises when one isn’t constantly controlled by their self dominated thoughts.

I don’t think this to be true, I know this is true from watching my thoughts and observing the nonsense they create. Life has nothing to do with one’s thoughts, but it has everything to do with one’s thoughts because they create one’s reality. The weather, driving in traffic, religion, politics, when someone close to you gets sick or dies, these are but a few of the things dominated by one’s false self thoughts. And although these things exist at the time they’re occurring, the thought about them is what controls how they affect you. Life just happens, but it’s the bondage to one’s thoughts that creates reality and it’s all because of the attachment to a false sense of self. Until this false sense of self is let go of, you won’t be able to watch your thoughts and observe the results the false sense of self produces and so reality will continue to be controlled by whatever your thoughts create…

Self Investigating

Investigating and learning from your practice allows for one who was lost to now be found, and one who was blind to now see. But only because of investigating what allows this…

If there’s not some kind of an investigation process in place for your practice, it will be difficult to proceed in a direction where there will be any expansion in your life. The first thing to investigate is if you even have a practice in place that’s practical and beneficial. I don’t mean a practice of belonging to certain groups, although there’s nothing wrong with that, but if it’s in place to just keep you busy, it’s not really a beneficial practice. Although it is a practice, investigating how it’s working to quiet the mind or how it keeps the mind agitations in place is what there needs to be awareness of to allow for the continuous expansion of life’s process. I’m sharing this because this is what has allowed me to be as I am today. There’s no magic to this, a beneficial practice has to be in place if one is to experience beneficial results, this is as simple as one plus one equals two.

Investigate your behavior, reactions, attachments, annoyances, and whatnot and see what is the driving force behind them. This driving force may be the block to expanding beyond the nonsense of the Conditioned Mind. Without investigating that allows this to be seen, you might as well not practice at all because it’s just a waste of time and energy. Either do what’s beneficial or don’t anything. One can only be free by being free and only a practice that puts you in harmony with life allows harmony with life. I practiced wrongly for many years and it produced results that weren’t beneficial. But I’ve since investigated and learned from this and because of this, where I was once lost I’m now found. And where I was blind I now see, but only because of investigating if what I practice allows this…

Take Care of Yourself: Part Two

What is practiced is what is seen as having value and what is seen as having value is the energy that is transmitted to others…

The way I have come to understanding taking care of yourself is by practicing the things needed to allow life to be in a state of peacefulness as much as possible. This peacefulness is what’s of value to others as it’s what transmitted out. What is practiced is what is seen as having value and what is seen as having value is the energy that is transmitted to others. Think of the plane, if you don’t put on the oxygen mask first and you become unconscious your value to others and the inability to help them is what’s transmitted by your unconsciousness.

Your state of being is the only thing you can transmit. You can only be who you are, you can’t be who you aren’t. When you truly learn to take care of yourself first, you will understand what the true value of existence is. When you live for the sole purpose of doing things that are a value to others, you won’t question what you need to do and why you need to put on the oxygen mask first. It will just be done because the value of doing it will be understood. You will just do what’s necessary to take care of yourself first and proceed naturally in doing things that are of value to others…

Taking Care of Yourself: Part One

If you don’t take care of yourself first it will be very difficult to take care of anyone else. Only when your own house is in order can you bring order to others…

When you board a plane, before it takes off there are certain instructions the flight attendants go over. One is if the oxygen masks deploy while in flight make sure you put it on yourself before you try and help someone else. You cannot be of assistance to anyone if you don’t do what’s necessary to take care of yourself. The same principle is to be used if one wants to be an instrument of goodness to our human family.

If you do not have a solid spiritual foundation, it will be difficult to do things that have value to anyone else. After all, being of value to others is the reason of existence. If it isn’t, what is? Hopefully you don’t think it’s to be of value to yourself lol. The main thing to understand is that one’s own house will need to be in order for order to be transmitted to others. So if you aren’t taking care of you, you will not be able to take care of anyone else… Tomorrow Part Two

Unconscious Triggers

What the unawareness of an unconscious trigger does is it keeps the opposite energy of what you’re standing up for in place, and in the process it doesn’t change anything…

The triggers of life are in place to grab you and pull you deeper into an unconscious state. Not many break free once a trigger is set. But if you know the trigger (generated from your own mind) is there, it’s less likely to grab you; not being aware what activated the trigger. Not many investigate what their triggers are so they’re set unconsciously. By the time they’re noticed it’s usually too late and you become a prisoner to the trigger. This has been going on since humanity began, today’s world is just as insane as a thousand years ago, there’s just more news coverage and social media to spread the insanity; make no mistake that’s what’s being done. This cause, that cause, I don’t like this or that, all the unconscious energy being put out, I have been unfriended by some because they have chosen not to look at this. The insanity in place cannot be seen by the one who is insane; strong language, but true.

Get triggered into the story of the injustices that appear to be going on, but understand this is nothing new. It has been and will continue to occur because of the energy being put out by all. This isn’t to say the injustices aren’t there, but taking a stand against them feeds them with energy to allow them to continue. If you don’t think this is true, what has changed in the last two years or even the last thousand years in the way humanity reacts to things? This article isn’t about the last two years because this energy has been in place for many many years. This is what the unawareness of an unconscious trigger does, it keeps the opposite energy for what you’re standing up for in place. And in the process although this energy makes one think they have to stand up for what they believe, it doesn’t change a damn thing…

Humanness Embraced

Our human form is the vessel used to experience life so our humanness should never be denied. But non attachment to it is the key if one is to truly experience living from a heart of love…

When life begins there aren’t any blocks developed to our heart of love. Slowly though as we grow we develop these blocks by forming an identity of a human self. This is our vessel to experience life so we should never deny our humanness, but non attachment to it is key to truly experiencing our heart of love. The more thought that’s applied to our humanness, the less in touch we are with our true essence of love. So what exactly are these blocks and where do they originate from? It would be easy to say “that’s just the way I am” but no one is just the way they are, we become what we are influenced by and conditioned to become. It’s very nice to say things like our true essence is to love, but with all the tragic behavior that goes on, it’s really difficult to see our true essence as anything but insanity.

Everyone goes around forcing their will on whomever they come in contact with and they call it love. But a heart of love never forces anything, it doesn’t need to. The conditioning to the identity of self goes very deep and why this is so is because it’s the foundation of most existences. It’s why people reach outside themselves for fulfillment; all to satisfy a human self. This is the only block that one will encounter to their heart of love. Until there’s awareness of this, you will never truly understand your heart of love. I’m not saying people don’t love, but there’s a lot of selfish attachment to the way most people love. Until the mind settles so one lives from the heart. The Conditioned Mind will remain in control and living from a heart of love will be fleeting at best. So sit and be still and you just may see how it’s only in this moment that your heart can be of love…

Aligned Intentions

When intentions are aligned in love, this opens the heart to loving all beings. Not because it’s wanted, but because this is the way love rolls when intentions are aligned with love…

Having love aligned intentions is worth more than all the books combined on what it means to be spiritual. And why this is so is because your aligned intentions are yours and the content of any book is someone else’s. Someone else’s idea of you will never be you, no matter if their way is copied exactly. This is why many remain in the struggle because they’re trying to be someone else’s idea of who they should be. You can use books, methods, and whatnot as a tool, but the deep seated intentions of why you do what you do will need to be reflected upon to see if the results of your efforts are aligned with love. Not the story of love, but the love that arises not from effort, but from one’s inner alignment. This is where effort is meaningless if it’s not aligned with love. Only aligned intentions with love will result in meaning.

There are as many books as there are people practicing, but everyone who reads a book and practices doesn’t necessarily wake up. This is because the intentions aren’t of the necessary energy that allows the alignment to a loving heart. True intentions need to be seen if there is to be harmony with all beings. This doesn’t mean a person won’t harm you or animals and insects won’t bite you, but it’s less likely you will put yourself in that type of situations with having the intentions of a loving heart. In the space of stillness one learns to see their true intentions and in the process have those intentions aligned with love. When this occurs one will love all beings, not gf go because you want to, but because this is the way love rolls when one’s intentions are aligned with love…

Agitations Within

All agitations arise from within your inner questions. Without discipline the mind that’s full of questions won’t have any answers provided so you will have to look externally and constantly be agitated…

All inner agitations are ego based because they come from the Conditioned Mind. If you’re agitated with what’s written here, that arises from within you, the words don’t cause it. It doesn’t matter if you agree with this or not, just understand if you’re agitated that comes from within you, not from what’s written. Oh how we love to point outside ourselves for our own self created agitations, but the only reason they are so is because of the lack of understanding of our own mind.

Nothing causes an inner agitation unless it’s allowed. If you can change something by all means change it, but if it’s being changed just because you want it different, it needs to be looked at why there’s an agitation to begin with because even if the thing is changed, you will just move on to the next thing that will cause you to become agitated once again.

Everything that I have come to understand about life has arisen from within myself. It has been through the practice of discipline that real answers have arisen. I can’t have anyone else’s answers because the one who has questions is the one who has the answers. I do not have your answers because I do not have your questions; everyone has their own questions to answer. Truth is the same for all beings, but how we come to its understanding is from within ourselves. When one sits in stillness, revealed are answers to our questions, this is when agitations with yourself and with the world will be no more…

Conditional Control

When you’re under the control of the Conditioned Mind you behave in ways not because it’s the way you want to be, it’s because it’s the way you have to be…

It was a lack of understanding of my own mind that caused me to remain unaware of the control it had over me; I wasn’t aware of was how my mind was conditioned to self serve. The problem with this type of conditioning is it causes your own destruction because the destructiveness is disguised as pleasure. This pleasure is pursued by many to their death. It was pursued by me in this way and I was at its mercy. It said to me to use drugs, alcohol, gambling, womanizing, lying, cheating, stealing and so on. This is how the Conditioned Mind is developed for most; there are those who are fortunate enough to see this at a young age.

The way I was conditioned wasn’t the fault of anyone in particular, it happened indirectly by the inner and outer influences of my life which molded me to behave in the ways my conditioning dictated. This was not because this is how I wanted to be, but by not understanding this, it was the way I had to be. You cannot behave in any other way except in the way you have been conditioned. Change the conditioning and change your entire existence or not and remain the same. The value of knowing my own mind is in the understanding there was no where else to turn; not to God, support groups, therapy, self help books, positive thinking, and so on. What I learned is when the Conditioned Mind is understood, the world is no longer in control. What I also learned was it’s control slowly dissipates as discipline is developed; the mind actually slows down. Once this slowing occurs, the possibilities are endless because there are no longer the distractions that keeps you unaware of the conditioning. With this understanding of what you’re truly up against you’re able to develop the discipline so the conditioning eventually falls away…

Empty Hole Lie

Everyone begins their existence complete, it’s just that not many realize it; this makes one think something’s missing. Most people have a sense of lack in their lives so the empty hole seems natural, but it’s not…

Constantly reaching for things on the outside keeps one in the grip of the need to reach because it’s as though there’s an empty hole. The reason why reaching is done is to try and fill the empty hole. But reaching for things on the outsides keeps the reaching in place, thus the empty hole remains. Only by looking inward does the hole begin to fill. What really happens is it simply collapses because the outside view weakens. Years of conditioning makes the empty hole almost impossible to fill and it’s unfortunate because many never get beyond this. I did say almost impossible because the slightest turning inward is all that’s needed. Once looking outside ceases because the lies are exposed, looking inward becomes the view of choice and it has a snow ball rolling down a hill effect; it just naturally picks up momentum.

Outside reaching is used as a protection view so one doesn’t have to go inward. The greatest lie that we tell ourselves and constantly reinforce is we need something to be complete; there’s nothing further from the truth. Everyone begins existence complete, it’s just that this isn’t realized hence the need to reach for it. Most people have a sense of lack in their lives so the empty hole seems natural, but it’s not. We’re not meant to feel empty and it’s only so because of the conditioning we develop. Once the slightest opening occurs, everything changes because the inward view reveals truth. And although we live a lie for most of our lives, when truth is revealed the empty hole implodes as the truth sets you free…

Attaching to Feelings

To feel is human, but taking them to the next level to form concepts is when attachment arises as a belief the feeling needs to be different…

If it’s not learned to just be with the feeling that arises, they will control you. This is because of the conditioning of a mind that wants to push feelings away and change them. How this works is, let’s say someone walks up to you and says something that you don’t particularly care for, immediately there’s attachment as there’s the feeling of not caring for what was said. And where there’s attachment, there’s the tendency to react the way you always react when someone says something that’s not cared for. This is done again and again because of the conditioning in place. Someone says something you don’t care for and you wind up saying something back to them. What you do is take their dissatisfaction and make it your own and then you throw your dissatisfaction back at them. Now basically you are at war.

Feeling aren’t right or wrong, there’s very little facts as to why they arise. The main thing is to allow their energy to remain free flowing so they don’t get bottled up and form a conditioned concept. These concepts are formed by attachment to mind patterns that change a simple feeling into a story; the story being the feeling needs to be changed. It’s not true the feeling needs to be changed, but that’s what the conditioned energy does, it makes you believe a feeling is unpleasant and a pleasant one would be better. This is energy that wants to push away when feelings arise because it doesn’t understand they aren’t right or wrong, they are just what’s there and you don’t have to attach to them…

Depressive Mind State

If you think you are your thoughts, you will always be making adjustments on something because that’s what your thoughts will tell you, that is until you realize you are not those thoughts…

I suffered from a self inflicted depressive state of mind until I learned my own mind was creating this; I’m simply writing about my experience here. Every fall and spring I would be overcome by a mindset of doom and gloom. The only way I knew to get out of it was to use a destructive distraction. You don’t really get out of it by using a distraction, all that happens is the focus shifts. But because the Conditioned Mind Patterns that were causing this wasn’t understood, every year this depressive state returned. I was always stuck in the working on myself syndrome that plagues so many. All this did was create distractions that kept me from finding out what was truly going on. I no longer get trapped by this because I’ve discovered what was causing it. This is very important to understand if you want to break the conditioning of a depressive state. This may not be what the so called experts say about depression, but I’m giving a first hand account of my experience and what was revealed to me. If you want to keep “working on it” that’s up to you, but just understand you will and I repeat, you will stay glued in the Conditioned Mind Patterns that cause depressive state.

I wrote this in response to someone posting something about depression. I reached out to them and their was response, I’m working on it. All I said was OK and moved on, but a lot arose inside me because of my depression which I worked on for many years. That is until the day I realized there was nothing to work on because my depressive state was only a thought and thoughts only become real when they are attached to. The thought of being depressed may arise as many thoughts do, but when they’re not attached to, whatever the thought is never manifests. If you think you are your thoughts you will always have to be working on something because that’s what your thoughts will tell you. But when you understand thoughts needn’t be given any energy, there’s no attachment and hence there’s no self created suffering, in this case a depressive state. Think about it, but not too much because you are not your thoughts…

Labeling Attachments

Every label used to describe something limits it to whatever label is being applied. Judgements, concepts and beliefs, are labeled and limit the awe inspiring love the Universe has to offer…

The Universe needs no permission to do what it does. It only responds to things out of necessity, but it does so unconditionally, without labeling. It doesn’t label or form concepts, it’s existence as it is with nothing added because it needs nothing; it’s self sustaining. It creates, it destroys, it neither loves nor hates in the sense of emotions, but its beauty is awe inspiring and arises from a love that can’t be described. It’s pure energy and it’s from this energy that everything is created. This energy is existence in its purest state. The moment this is labeled it loses it sense of purity.

Humans apply all kinds of labels to life, but life needs no labels. The place of no labels, concepts, beliefs, and non emotional attachment is the only true place of existence; it’s in this place in the midst of the Universe that our true essence is. It’s a place that is here, there, and everywhere, but not labeled as such. Stillness exist as life and if a label is needed apply it, just understand every label has a limit. Once something is labeled it creates resistance. So be in the unlimited space of what is and be with all the Universe has to offer. All the beauty of the Universe is within each and every person. It’s where everyone arise from, but only the label applied limits the awareness of the Universe’s magnificence…

Desiring Consequences

Don’t let the consequences of desire lull you into an unconscious state. All desires have consequences (attachment) in one form or another regardless of what’s desired…

If there’s always something to desire it’s because you don’t think what you have is enough. And if you don’t think you have enough, there will always be something that’s desired. Desire isn’t something that’s inherently a bad thing, why one desires is where issues arise and this is only because where there is desire one thinks something is missing. What is desired only matters to the degree in how the thing desired affects your life. A desire to drink alcohol in access has consequences much different then desiring to go to a program to stop using those things. But the desires core is the same and that’s what needs to be examined. Don’t let the different consequences of desire lull you into unconsciousness because all wanting leads to bondage in one form or another and as stated this includes all desires.

You might say that’s not true, a desire to better yourself is a good thing, but that would mean you need things to be different to accept yourself. Accepting life exactly how it is is the only place you will experience the peace of not desiring things different. I’m not saying don’t better yourself, but if it’s at the expense of your peace of mind, where’s the benefit. I say go for the gold, just understand even if it’s attained you will find it’s not providing the benefits you thought it would; shortly afterwards more gold will be desired. Investigate this and see how desires arise from needing, and needing causes bondage (attachment) which causes suffering. Break free from the desiring of wanting things different and you will inevitably stop suffering…

The Challenge Within

Life is a happening not a doing. If it’s made into something to do it’ll always be challenging. When you find your space of not doing there’s nothing left because you’re sheltered from creating needing something to do…

It may seem as though life creates challenges so lessons can be learned from them, but the challenges we face come from within ourselves. Life doesn’t create challenges, that’s not its nature, life is just life. Things happen because of certain laws and conditions producing certain result. This is life just being life, it’s never personal. There’s space within every person that you can go when life seems over bearing, but life isn’t ever truly over bearing, its just the story the Conditioned Mind creates; a story of life being a challenge.

When you can stay centered you will be sheltered from creating your own wrath. This is regardless of what happens in life unless you make it about it doing something to you. But life does nothing to no one, it’s each individual alone, from the way they are conditioned that makes life seem as though it creates challenges. This occurs because without a center everything that happens in life is put upon your shoulders and you make it something you have to do. But understand whatever is going on between your ears about what you think you have to do, that is totally on you. It’s something you create from within you. Don’t blame life for the inability of not staying centered and being left unprotected and exposed. Find your center so you are sheltered and stay there as much as possible. The more you stay there the fewer storms there will be in your life and the less it will seem like life’s a challenge…

Mature Foundation

Acceptance of the way things are goes a long way in providing yourself with a foundation that allows the maturity of not needing to reach for comfort in whatever form it takes on…

Seeking self satisfaction is a sign of immaturity. It’s the I want, what I want, when I want it syndrome. Self seeking is directly linked to your level of maturity. If you don’t think this is so, see how there’s no difference in what you use now to provide comfort as opposed to what was used as an infant. Only the object has changed, the same reaching is in effect. Stop and see the baby in place who doesn’t like what’s being written here. So your feelings may be hurt, who cares if this article allows you to see the truth needed to act in a mature manner. And how you will know immaturity is in place is by how you have to reach for things. This reaching takes on many many forms. Unless the mind is very settled, immaturity and reaching which go hand and hand will remain.

Being mature will only occur when seeking self satisfying comfort ceases. Judging is immature, jealousy also is. Greed, hate, and wanting life different (delusion) is immature. Relying on a program is immature, it’s all reaching for something to provide comfort. Anything that’s reached for is a sign of immaturity because it all falls under the guise to provide comfort. One is mature when nothing in life needs to be different or reached for. Acceptance of the way things are goes a long way in providing yourself and humanity with the stability and maturity of not needing to reach for comfort in whatever form it takes on…

Naturally Aware

Everyone begins life in this form with love in their heart, but because of the Conditioned Mind it gets pushed so far down that a story has to be made up instead of being aware of it naturally…

Why the Conditioned Mind is such a nemesis to one’s well being is because most conditioning is based in self centeredness; this affects every aspect of one’s life. Multiple this by billions of conditioned people and it’s no wonder the world is as it is. Granted this is one person’s experience (mine) but this is what has been revealed to me as being the block to my own innate love. Without this innate love for myself there isn’t room to love others. This didn’t make love non existent in my life, but it did make me unaware of it.

To me everyone has love in their heart, but it gets pushed so far down that one has to make up a story of love instead of being in touch with it naturally. When this occurs love becomes a doing when it’s naturally something that just is. Love isn’t something that can be manufactured, it either is or it isn’t. Love doesn’t pick and choose, it can’t, love just loves; unconditionally. The thing with love is most think it’s a wishy washy state of mind, but it’s not really anything, it’s just love. An applied label doesn’t enhance it, only the awareness of it allows its natural state to be. Love affects everything as does the lack of it. When there’s awareness of this, the heart opens and loves unconditionally because that’s how love rolls naturally…

One View Limit

No view is wrong, but if you only have one it limits your view of life and in the process it doesn’t allow any other results except those from that one view…

Having different views is what makes life different, but it doesn’t make what happens in life different. It only makes the view of what happens different. If you’re locked into a certain view this only allows one view of the way things are. To me the more that view is based in the intellect the harder it will be for there to be a shift to see things from another view. Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with the intellect, it just doesn’t allow for much openness. When one sees things from only one view it limits their entire life to that one view. Most times this view isn’t even your own, it’s formed from someone else’s opinion, teaching, book, video, or discussion.

To be fixated on one view keeps you entrapped to the results of only that view; think about how limiting this is. No possibility of other views. Always going down the same path. Never allowing anything new. This is so limiting, but with only seeing things through one view how limiting this is will not be seen. Sitting and developing discipline so the grip of the mind lessens can assist in possibly altering a one view mind set. Bit there has to an inkling there’s another way to see things. It’s not that your way is wrong, it’s just that having only one view has limits and in the process it doesn’t allow any other results except those from the one view…

A Life Based in Love

You don’t have to hope to do the right thing when the base of your life is love. The right thing occurs naturally and without effort because it’s already there…

Here is an example of how life plays out when the base is of love or if it’s self-serving. If you’re on the phone with a customer service rep (we all know how this is a true test of patience) and you’re not getting the results you want, whatever you have as a base will determine how you handle not getting your desired result. I have come to understand what makes this difficult is when the base is self-serving, especially when it involves something I am paying money for. When I don’t get what I‘m paying for, without awareness my mind can erupt like an active volcano. When it’s of love I’m able to see all the nonsense generated by a Conditioned Mind that feels slighted simply because things aren’t going my minds way and it’s not in control. It’s not because I know the difference between right and wrong and I want to do what’s right. There’s no decision to do what’s right, it occurs naturally and without effort when the base of life is of love.

So if you’re aware of this and you truly get it, you will only want to do things that make your base of love. Now mind you just because there’s awareness of this doesn’t mean your base will be of love. It probably will not be until the necessary practice of quietness is brought into your life to allow love to be your base more often than not. The more quietness there is, the more awareness you will have when you aren’t quiet. The more you notice when you aren’t quiet, the more you will develop discipline to bring in quietness. In essence quietness is the base of a life based in love…

Energy Builds on Itself

The time you’re alive in this form will be occupied by some type of energy. What the base of that energy is determines how your life unfolds and what the building blocks of that life will be…

This is very important to see, but then again its not so important to see because this isn’t to be made into a story of how to live. The energy one lives by either comes from the heart or the head. Either you see this or you don’t; most don’t. When this is seen, living from the heart naturally becomes the way you live. Energy builds on itself regardless of what it is. To me this a basic understanding of the Law of Attraction. I’m not saying this is the way it is, it’s just the understanding that’s been revealed to me. When my energy is based in stillness what becomes my life’s building blocks are all derived from this stillness. This isn’t a doing of mine, it’s a transformation occurring from stillness itself.

What’s unfortunate about this is the opposite is also true, at least this has been my experience. For years my energy was based in noise and although I mostly got what I wanted, it wasn’t what I was looking for. This noise based energy built on itself and it doesn’t take a genius to see why my life prior to waking up was the way it was. My building blocks of noise manifested in the only way it could. What energy is in place will be what’s manifested, there’s no way around this; you can only be what the base of your energy is.

Sit with this and investigate what the base of your energy is and see how it builds on itself. Life doesn’t make it what it is, the energy of your base makes life what it is. To a large degree we are all creators of our own reality and that reality will be what the base of your energy is. The life you build is up to you as you alone are the creator of your reality, for the most part…

Two Energies

Higher energy has to be understood so the bondage of self is truly let go of and your higher self can reach its true potential to be an instrument of love instead of an instrument to satisfy selfish lower energy…

The are two energies to just about everything in life and although many times only the one is seen, in order to go beyond the small self energy the other energy which is if love has to be noticed. This is just about the only way you will be able to go beyond the limited view of self serving energy. If your human existence is viewed only from the human side, the spiritual won't come into play and life will seem very dull. But when you start looking at life from the energy of love which doesn't require human attachment, another view opens to the true beauty of what life has to offer. This beauty manifest in different ways for people, but what it has in common is it comes from the energy of a higher self. We exist in the form of energy and one energy is selfish, the all about me view. This is a lower energy that doesn't allow one to reach their true potential. The other energy or view is the energy of stillness which manifest as love, this is a higher energy which allows the beauty of life to manifest and thus our true potential is maximized.

Learning to understand these two energies will assist in truly letting go of the blocks that keep the lower selfish energy in place. The higher energy is always there to tap into, but if there isn't alignment it cannot manifest. This isn't to deny our human side because it's the form we are in, but attaching to it and making it an end to a means is where the expansion of consciousness ceases. The tighter the grip of the human side the less the higher energy is manifested. This is a Universal Law that has to be understood so the bondage of self is truly let go of. When this occurs one's higher self reaches its true potential as you are an instrument of love instead of an instrument to satisfy selfish lower energy…





Hamster Wheel Path

As long as there is seeking there will always be seeking and one will remain on the hamster wheel path exerting all kinds of energy, but not really getting anywhere…

What keeps a person stuck on the hamster wheel path of seeking is trying to manufacture peace, love, kindness, mindfulness, spirituality, and so on, instead of aligning yourself with the present moment which allows these attributes to arise naturally. This is what keeps the hamster wheel energy in place. The energy of this seeking is circular (like a dog chasing its tail) so it’s never going to produce anything that’s going to get you off the hamster wheel. You may bounce to a seemingly different energy because it’s given a different label, but as long as one thinks they have to do something to manufacture a certain desired result, hamster wheel energy will continue regardless of what it’s called and so you will remain on this circular path.

This seeking of desired results makes a person use an an array of things, from sweets, drugs, alcohol, gambling, tv, success, sex, programs, another book, retreat, a path, meditation, and many other things. What these all have in common is they keep you ingrained in the hamster wheel energy of seeking which is attached to by the Conditioned Mind. A true transformation of the spirit cannot be manufactured. Repeat: A true transformation of the spirit cannot be manufactured. This is because seeking energy is the exact energy that blocks the alignment which allows energy to transform. Only when you get off the hamster wheel can a transformation or shift occur. As long as there is seeking there will always be seeking and you will remain on the hamster wheel path exerting all kinds of energy, but not really getting anywhere…



Unconsciously Controlled

Without recognition of the unconsciousness that’s formed, you’re blindly controlled by it. It tells you to jump and the only thing you can do is jump; the level of unconsciousness determines if you ask how high…

If you want to understand your mind you will need to sit down and observe it. Whatever you think and ponder upon, that is what becomes the inclination of your mind and hence this is what becomes your unconscious actions. If there is no sitting, there’s very little chance for the mind to settle so it can be observed. As unconsciousness is formed it becomes so deeply imbedded in the subconscious that there’s very little observation of your mind activated actions. These unconscious actions are different for everyone, but they are common at their root. They all arise in some way from the desire to seek pleasure. It matters little what’s used to fulfill this pleasure seeking desire and because there’s very little awareness of this it’s in control. There needs to be an understanding that your actions become automatic and are conditioned by how you think. This is what determines whether your actions are wholesome (loving) or unwholesome (selfish). Simply put, loving actions should be cultivated so they become automatic.

If there isn’t any sitting to allow the mind to settle, an understanding of it will be difficult and so observing the unconscious conditioned patterns will not be recognized. Without recognition of this you’ll be blindly controlled by them. They say jump and the only thing you can do is jump. And depending on the level of unconsciousness, you may even ask how high. This is why things are done that aren’t in our best interest without hesitation. Without the ability to observe the thoughts that arise one is like a puppet on a string. Sitting allows the mind to settle so there can be an observation of this and one by one the strings can be cut. If nothing is in place to allow this settling, the Conditioned Mind puppeteer will continue its unconscious control without hesitation and do things that aren’t in your best interest or what’s best for others…

Always on the Beach

Look down at your feet. Regardless of where they’re planted this is your beach. If it isn’t it’s because the need to reach is in place and it’s blocking you from finding the beach you’re already on…

When all of a sudden you’re not at peace, what is it that takes you from it? The Corona beer commercial that tells you to “find you beach” always reminds me if I’m not at peace it’s because I left my beach. For years I was constantly searching for my beach and expect for brief moments, my beach eluded me for most of my life. Why this was so was because my beach was always contingent on something that was outside of myself and whatever its form, it was always a beach based in what I thought I needed to provide comfort. There’s no need to list what these beaches are because there are so many; they are the things reached for. These beaches come in many many forms and unless you truly takes a step back to see this, the reaching will always be there. But finding your beach will never happen.

The lies of the Conditioned Mind will dictate what you will reach for as your beach. Until the conditioning to reach is changed your beach will continue to be sought and never be found. The only way this will change is by going inward to discover why there’s a need to reach and once this is revealed, therein lies your beach. Your beach isn’t from the thought realm though, it comes from the still small voice within that tells you it doesn’t matter where you are or what’s happening, all you have to do is look down at your feet and regardless of where they’re planted this is your beach. If you need something else it’s because the need to reach is still in place and it’s blocking you from finding the beach that you’re already on…

Programmed Reactions

Most reactions that occur in life are programmed and put in place by your own conditioning. If your life isn’t being lived to its fullest potential of love, it’s your own programming that’s blocking it from being so…

Although things appear to be a certain way it’s not always as it seems. It’s difficult to see beyond your own mind when programmed ideas are brought into play. So much of what the mind holds is from programming and it’s put in storage to be used at particular times; this is how most lives are lived. It’s as though we already have in place the way things are going to be handled; programmed reactions are formed in this way.

Advertisement is a billion dollar industry because of this. Politicians have people write speeches using certain words which they know are going to sway people in certain ways. Supermarkets know exactly where to place products. It’s all based on putting things in a certain place so programmed reactions are triggered .

This goes on constantly because the Conditioned Mind makes it so. If you had no previous programming none of the above methods would work, but this is not the case. One of the keys to not living a programmed life is to a develop some way to be anchored in the present moment as much as you can because the more present you are the more you’ll be with what life has to offer. When this occurs there’s peace because the programmed ideas that have been put in place by the Conditioned Mind are no longer making it appear that things are different than what they are…

Ray of Light

When you’re aware that all opinions are a made up story, love takes their place. This love is a ray of light and is always there, but it’s not experienced because of the conditioned opinions that block it…

Without opinions everyone would view life through the eyes of love which by the way is the ray of light of peace; because of opinions this ray of light isn’t seen. The view of opinions are made up by the energy of unconsciousness, this makes everything that happens in life seen through the conditioning of your opinions; through this view what is true is missed. This makes life about nothing real except for the opinions that’s are formed by the Conditioned Mind.

Being unaware of opinions are what makes the mind attach to thoughts and those attachments are the cause of the what controls your life. What’s factually is this, life just happens, it’s not personal, it’s not about anything you think it is. It’s not about right, wrong, love, hate, good or bad, it‘s simply learning to understand your minds true nature of quietness and not being lead around by your conditioned opinions; whatever they are. When there’s awareness of this you will truly love. A love that has always been there, but it’s never experienced because of your conditioned opinions not allowing you to see your ray of light…

Beneficial Operating System

If anything is ever going to change in our world, the operating system in place will have to change. This will only happen when it’s seen the operating system isn’t providing beneficial results…

Operating systems are used to do certain things and they will do just that, whether you want it to or not. Every operating system can only do what it’s programmed to do. Our mind becomes an operating system in the same way and unless it’s changed or at least upgraded to some degree, it will remain as originally designed. It’s imperative to understand this so first the operating system in place can be identified and second if it isn’t serving you in a beneficial way it can be changed. The operating system that ran my life for many years was a self serving one and after a long period of time (forty nine years to be exact), I realized it wasn’t really benefiting me or anyone else for that matter. This realization is the beginning stages for the possibility of your operating system to change. This will take some effort because of how ingrained it is, but this effort is more about awareness than actual exertion.

Once one becomes aware there may be another operating system so to speak to live by, the process of change has begun. This is difficult because part of the original operating system is to hold onto the familiar even if it’s not providing much benefit. It’s how the dog chasing its tail syndrome remains in place; even at the point of its own destruction. There are many tools and influences to do this, some inner, some outer; it’s just part of the operating system. This is why when a person acts in a particular way they’re more accountable than responsible for what they do. If anything is ever going to change in our world, the operating system in place will have to change. This will only happen when it’s seen the operating system although doing what it was designed to do, isn’t providing beneficial results…
