Mississippi Light Festival

The first edition of this event was Feb. 24, 2017.  The weather was excellent until about 10:00 pm., so the large crowd was able to view all the exciting exhibits.  I was glad to have my painted wood panels with wireless lights in the event.  There were about 5,000 people attending, and about 40-50 exhibits.  Next year there is a plan for a three-day event.  Everyone was happy that there was sufficient hotel and motel supply in the area.  With the DJ on hand, the music gave us an upbeat atmosphere in which to enjoy everything.  Some of the exhibits included drone shows, wall projections, student demonstrations in a building, some dance exhibits, and other activities.  All the entries were interesting, large and small.  We hope that the next festival is bigger and better in every way.
