The unconscious mind has a view based in the desires of the world. It’s difficult to break this spell because most of what goes on in our daily lives reinforce the unconscious desires. A free mind doesn’t desire the world…
The struggles with life have nothing to do with life. It’s the view based in the world of unconscious desires that causes the struggle because this view is controlled by the unconscious mind. When desires are fulfilled and things are going the way that they’re wanted, there’s not much of a struggle with life as it’s labeled as good. When things are going this way what causes life to be a struggle is forgotten. When this is done it makes life’s base centered in the world of unconscious desires; these desires pull you around like a puppet on a string.
The more this occurs the more suffering there is in life. Sometimes it is very subtle, but it’s there. As a matter of fact even if there’s some awareness of being controlled by an unconscious mind, it still produces suffering. The suffering occurs just by being in a state where the unconscious desires are in control.
The less the world of unconscious desires are allowed (which is wanting what is wanted when it’s wanted), the less struggle there is with yourself and with life. This is simply because unconscious desires aren’t in control. When this is forgotten and the unconscious mind is creating chaos, the suffering is immense. Desire less, suffer less, but only when an unconscious mind becomes conscious of itself…
