A Created Gap

Creating a gap is due to the misunderstanding of what love is. If you fill the gap with the things of the world it will never be filled. If you fill the gap with love for others it will never exist…

I had a gap in my life for forty nine years that always needed to be filled. I didn’t know this at the time, but it was the absence of love that created this gap. This is a very simplistic yet profound explanation of the nature of this gap. Without love this gap is the cause of most dysfunctional behavior in life. It makes you view life from the material realm and the gap cannot be filled from this realm. It uses whatever it can to be filled, but until it’s filled with love, you will keep trying to fill it. This is why dysfunctional behavior manifest because when your view is from the material realm it’s self-serving and isn’t based in love. You will use whatever you become conditioned to use. You will even use a false concept of love to fill this gap.

This view is developed because you think your answer to fill the gap is in the form of some object. Nothing this gap is filled with is lasting because whatever you use is limited. Think about this, any object that you use from the material world has a limit to it. Nothing of this world last forever except eternal love so the gap will never be filled with anything materiel. Any object used is limited so the amount of time the gap is filled will be limited. The gap will never stay filled for long unless it’s filled with love…
