Conditioning Reversed

Nothing that happens in life affects a person unless their own mind allows it. The insanity of the Conditioned Mind is its destructive solutions are from within which means one creates their own destruction…

For me, when all is said and done, regardless of what it’s called, I have found a way to minimize the conditioning that created my own destruction. It’s my own mind that tells me this conditioning is needed to cope with life; a life that was controlled by a destructive mindset. My own mind created all the destruction that went on by choosing behaviors I thought I wanted to do, but my choices always caused issues. I developed a mind that told me to do things that were destructive to my own well being. From relationships, to drugs, alcohol, gambling, and a slew of other things, nothing was ever chosen that was beneficial to my well being. I always seemed to do things that caused more harm than good. Why this mind set developed I’m not sure, but I do know this, it can only be described as created insanity.

Seventeen years ago although it wasn’t a white light experience, an inner shift occurred that revealed a way to reverse the destructive conditioning. Regardless of what it’s called or what attached label is put on it, when I have issues with something, it’s my own destructive mindset that creates it. When there’s awareness of this and there isn’t attachment to this, there aren’t created issues. I have found without issues I’m at peace, so the bottom line for me is to not create issues. All I ever wanted in my life was peace, but I didn’t know it was my own mind that created all the destruction…

Controlled Mind

Understanding the nature of a controlled mind is one of the attributes of waking up, but it’s not being controlled by the world that wakes one up, it’s the awareness of being controlled by your own mind…

What is a controlled mind that runs your life? The controlled mind manifests because there’s attachment to your thoughts. The thought that arises about something is inconsequential, it’s the attachment to the thought that forms the controlled mind. To understand the controlled mind one must be aware of its attachments, desires, confusions, and the way your mind works. Without this awareness the puppet on string pattern prevails. Certain practices turns one inward to see this. If what you’re doing doesn’t turn you inward, you’ll remain trapped to your controlled state of mind. This is why nothing from the outside truly changes a person because anything from the outside is part of the controlled mind. A controlled mind can’t fix itself and as long as it’s reaching for something on the outside, it remains trying to fix itself and thus it remains controlled. Until this truth is seen, things will stay as they are because nothing is being done to make it different.

We can only go beyond the contolled view if there’s awareness of it. What this means is one has to develop mindfulness of what they are doing as they are doing it so there‘s awareness of what’s being done. If you know what you’re doing as you’re doing it, it leaves little room for the controlled mind to arise. Mindfulness is probably the single most discipline to develop as it anchors you in the moment of what is being done. A controlled mind only occurs when one lives in the story of a past or future. These controlled mind made constructs keeps the control active. The present moment can be seen without making it a story even though it passes as quickly as it arises, but the past and future can never truly be seen without a story. Because of this lack of discipline to be present, most people live a controlled mind existence…

Naively Controlled

When you’re naively led around by the Conditioned Mind you behave in ways that aren’t beneficial. Not because it’s how you want to be, it’s because it’s naively how you have to be…

It was a lack of understanding of my conditioning that led me to remain naively controlled by it. What I was naively led by was a mind that was conditioned to self serve. The issue with this type of conditioning is it causes your own destruction because the destructiveness is naively disguised as something needed; this needing is pursued by many to their death. It was naively pursued by me in this way and I was at its mercy. It said to use drugs, alcohol, gambling, lying, cheating, stealing and so on. This is how the naively of the Conditioned Mind is developed except for some who are fortunate enough to see this at a young age.

The way I was conditioned wasn’t the fault of anyone, it was indirectly implemented by the inner and outer influences of my life which naively molded me to behave in the ways my conditioning developed and naively controlled me. You cannot behave in any other way except in the way you have been naively conditioned. Change the conditioning and change your entire existence or not and remain the same. The value of knowing my own mind is in the understanding there was no where to turn but inward. What is learned when the Conditioned Mind is understood is you no longer are naively led by it. Its control slowly dissipates as you develop discipline; the mind actually slows down. Once this slowing occurs, the possibilities are endless because there is no longer distractions that keep you naively attached to the conditioning. With this solid understanding of what you’re truly up against, you’re able to develop the discipline so your naive conditioning falls away…

Inward Intuitiveness

If you seek what you think is needed to wake up, you’ll probably remain sleep walking through life. An awakening is from the Universe, but this will not be known if you’re listening to head noise instead of your inward intuitiveness…

We are all a product of the Universe, we are not products of ourselves. We didn’t call for our creation nor do we call for the time when it ends. Our existence is a product of the Universe and the energy transformed to awaken is from the Universe. This is why we can’t really do anything to transform ourselves. We can only do the necessary practice that allows the heart to open so the Universe can do its thing. This is not our doing, this is a calling from the Universe; we practice because we’re listening to our inward intuitiveness. The reason some practice and some don’t is because the noise in the head doesn’t allow listening to inward intuitiveness. Even though it seems an awakening is from the outside, it can only be heard from inward intuitiveness.

Through our Conditioned Mind we become trapped in a self-centered direction. This may also be from the Universe, but it doesn’t produce love. Energy always is, it’s just a matter of listening so you can go where you’re directed. We seek because the Universe nudges us, but we’ll only hear when the veil of a Conditioned Mind is removed and our energy is intuitively guided by the heart. Spirituality is not magical for a select few who think they‘re special, it’s available to anyone who listens to inward intuitiveness. The Universe is always calling, but we don’t always listen. If you think you’re listening, question if you’re hearing a true message or if you’re making up your own message to fulfill some self-centered desire. It takes much quietness to intuitively hear the Universe’s call. The alternative is to listen and follow a made up call which is scary. And why it’s scary is because people are trapped in fulfilling self-centered desires that prevent listening to their inward intuitiveness…

Quietness Tools

Quietness is what happens when the tools that allow quietness are used. Once the tools of noise are changed, quietness naturally arises because it’s what’s there…

If you think you have tools that need to be changed, there are tools that have been revealed to me to assist in doing this. I know I don’t have the only tools and by the way they actually aren’t mine, I borrowed them from people who came before me; I share them in my articles with the compassion from my heart. So if you do have tools that aren’t beneficial know this, they can be changed. This is my aspiration, nothing more. It’s not something that I strive to do, because striving to be or do something leads to suffering. 

Quietness is what my tools allowed once they were changed; noise is suffering. I sit a lot, this sharpened my tools more and more, but this also caused heartache when it was observed that people suffer needlessly. What I know is this; I can only change myself, but I can share the tools I use that allow me to change. Some of the tools I use are sitting, sensation of touch, guided meditations, bowl mediations, watching the breath, walking, etc, basically I use whatever allows present moment awareness. Whether you want to use any of these is up to you, but if you don’t use mine find your own. Please make sure the tools that you use makes your behavior a benefit to all beings. And keep sharpening your tools so you can keep on expanding and bring more love into a world that can definitely use it…

Habitual Reaching

Habitual reaching is like wishing your life away as it keeps you from experiencing the present moment. What’s occurring right now is always what’s here as opposed to habitually reaching for the present moment to be different…

Many people think reaching is something that’s needed, but it’s not. It’s a habit used by the Conditioned Mind and it keeps you from not understanding what it means to be in the present moment. It’s a direct cause of suffering as it makes you reach for something that makes you live life in the future. The Conditioned Mind does this by telling you the present moment isn’t good enough and it needs to be different. It projects a lie that things would be better if they were different. Maybe on the surface they would be, but inward is where one derives the perception that makes life what it is; so it will be a life of habitual reaching or one of contentment. Even if what’s habitual reached for is attained it won’t last, but the habit will. Inward there’s a better chance to break the habit, but this is only if one is awake enough to see this.

Let’s say you’re diagnosed with some kind of illness, the only thing habitual reaching does is it makes you wish the diagnoses was different, but it doesn’t change the fact of what is occurring right now. The illness remains regardless of wanting it different or what you think is needed to reach for. If you don’t reach for needing life different and it’s accepted as it is, you will experience the peace of the present moment regardless of what’s occurring. This is because right now is the only place of true existence so it’s important to see this. Not in the habitual reaching of the future, but right now because right now doesn’t need to be different…

Holding Onto Lies

There are many lies that are held onto that keep you trapped to the lies. And if these held onto lies aren’t exposed at least to where this is realized, your life will mostly be held together by lies…

Holding onto your lies is what gets you in trouble. Thinking the grass is greener on the other side is one of these lies and until it’s seen that this grass also has to be mowed, you will continue to hold onto the lies. If you hold onto that when certain things happen you’ll be set, you will be sadly mistaken even if those things come to pass. This is very hard to see, and as one clings to the holding onto of needing life to be a certain way, the lies are reinforced. Case in point would be something as simple and seemingly innocent as playing the lottery. Here’s how this works. There’s the lie that makes you hold onto if life is a certain way you will have it made; it’s the answer to your so called prayers. So you buy a lottery ticket just because the jackpot is a hundred million dollars. This seems innocent, but make no mistake it isn’t.

There’s nothing wrong with money in and of itself, but whatever is held onto that makes a person think life would be better if this or that happened, it puts you in the chains to “I”. Granted a hundred million dollars would make life different, but different doesn’t mean it will necessarily be better. The moment one holds onto that life needs to better, it means the present moment is wanted different. There are many lies that are held onto that keeps you trapped to the lies, and if these aren’t exposed life will mostly be lived as a lie. Money is only one lie, anything can be substituted for money. Don’t take my word on this, investigate this and see the lies you’re holding onto. Or not and remain in bondage to the lies that you’re keeping in place by holding onto them to be true…

What's There Now

Now is the space where love reduces the noise between your ears. This reduced noise comes from life itself, but it’s not a doing or it would already be so. Now opens up the true essence of life…

Now is where life truly occurs. Now is where love reduces the noise between your ears. Be with what’s in front of you no matter what it is simply because that’s what’s there. What’s there cannot be changed until it’s not there; accept life as it is. Don’t suppress it, let it flow. Any change needed will come from Now, it’s not a doing or it would already be so. Sit in quiet, see who is sitting, who wants life different. When this self is no more, that’s when life becomes different, with the difference being no longer will what goes on between your ears matter because Now reduces the noise and love takes over.

Now allows the mind to settle because it allows the noise in the head to subside. It will settle on its own when there’s alignment with Now. Don’t think about who you are, be who you are. Your “I Am“ needs nothing added to it to be. It’s your true essence; anything added is a story created. The more one lives by this created story, the less Now living there is and the less love there is to reduce the noise between your ears. When the noise is reduced you’ll be swallowed up by love without a story.

Just be with whatever life offers Now. No second thoughts of why this or that is done. Just be with it, don’t suppress it, let it flow. Sit often, don’t attach and the mind will settle, or not and it won’t. Either way life occurs, it’s just that in the Now of what’s there, love reduces the noise of what goes on between your ears…

Disguised Vacancy

The Conditioned Mind creates a lie disguised as a vacancy, this vacancy is a lack of love. Until this is realized, one will constantly need to reach for something to try and fill this disguised vacancy even though it doesn’t truly exist…

For many years I had a disguised vacancy in me that was created from a lack of love. That’s why I constantly reached for things to fill it; I have since come to understand this. This disguised vacancy isn’t a true vacancy at all, it’s emptiness; this emptiness is the essence of love. It’s where life truly happens when one is busy making other plans. By not understanding this, I spent most of my life trying to fill a disguised vacancy with whatever I could get my hands on. The list is endless as to what can be used, so each individuals have to investigate for themselves what that is. It’s ironic though because now most of my life is spent in the space that for so long was disguised as a vacancy; the truth of this has been revealed to me.

This disguised vacancy is the reason why someone reaches for anything or wants life to be different. If this was understood for what it truly is, humanity would be much different because contentment would be the way of the world. The vacancy is a disguised lie of the Conditioned Mind and it keeps one constantly needing the present moment to be different so it keeps you reaching to fill it. This will need to be understood if the reaching is to ever end. When this is understood, the disguised vacancy transforms to love because the present moment doesn’t need to be different. When the present moment doesn’t need to be different life reveals its true essence, which doesn’t ever need to be filled with anything because the disguised vacancy is seen for the lie that it truly is

Present Moment Anchor

Life is a happening not a doing. If it’s made into something to do, there will always be the burden of inner separation. When a present moment anchor is developed there is peace because inner separation is nonexistent…

It may seem as though life creates separation so lessons are learned, but the separation is inner. Life doesn’t create separation, that’s not its nature, life is just life. Things happen because of certain laws and conditions producing certain result. This is life just being life, it’s never personal. There’s inner space in every person that you can go to when it seems like life creates separation, but this isn’t life, its just the burdensome story the Conditioned Mind creates; a story of inner separate.

When you can stay anchored in the present moment you‘ll stop creating your own separation. This is regardless of what happens in life, unless you make it about life doing something to you. Life doesn’t do anything to anyone. It’s each individual alone from the way they‘re conditioned that makes life seem as though there’s inner separation. This occurs because without a present moment anchor, everything that happens in life is made into a burden of something to do. But understand, whatever goes on between your ears about what you think you have to do, that is inner separation. It’s something you create from within yourself. Don’t blame life for the inability of not staying anchored in the moment and being left unprotected and separated. Find your present moment anchor so you are planted and stay there as much as possible. The more a present moment anchor is developed the fewer stories there will be in your life, and with fewer stories the less it will seem like life is creating inner separation…

No Fact Beliefs

When you can only see and attach to no fact beliefs, therein lies the root to suffering. It’s in letting go of these beliefs that you will see there are many parts to the whole, this reveals the factual emptiness of all things…

When you stay attached to no fact beliefs, life becomes stagnant. Although life is still experienced, it’s seen this way by everyone except those who don’t see life through a belief; this is the state of emptiness which needs no belief. Everything is a part of the whole so nothing is truly what a no fact belief makes it out to be. When you look at a flower and apply the belief the flower is its parts, the stem, roots, and petals, the true nature of the flower is lost. If you can see this with the flower, you can see it with everything, including yourself. Without a belief of you, where is the you? Most don’t even think about the parts that make up this you.

There is much freedom in seeing this because it allows for the factual emptiness of all things to be revealed, and when you see there’s nothing to believe in no matter what, you are free. Another example is you give a form that keeps track of time and call it a watch. There are so many parts to it, which part is truly the watch? No fact beliefs will keep you in ignorance because they will block out seeing the true nature of factual emptiness in all things. With no fact beliefs you can only see and attach to form and therein lies the root to all suffering. It’s in letting go of your no fact beliefs in all forms that you will see there are just parts which reveals the emptiness of all things…

Conditioned Attachments

All attachments are conditioned driven. It matters little to life or the Universe whether those conditioned attachments are fulfilled or not. You can make up a story fulfilling your attachments matter, but that’s only an attachment…

You can have an attachment for things to be a certain way, but to life this doesn’t really matter. Life isn’t a respecter of attachments, it allows things for its betterment. If you’re one of the instruments which are being used in this capacity you’re truly blessed because you’re probably assisting others in a unique way. This doesn’t make you special, but it does allow you to be free of the self-centered attachments that hold most of the world in captivity. Attachments are conditioned driven, it matters little to life or the Universe whether they’re fulfilled or not. You can make up a story fulfilling your attachments matter, but that’s your story not life’s. Fulfill every attachment in your life, at the end of it you will have exactly what you would’ve had if no attachment had been fulfilled.

It always amusing watching a game and a player does something good, it’s always followed up by pointing upward as if something is watching and cares more about that person as opposed to the opposition. What happens when the other team loses, which is inevitable? I’m waiting for the day when a team loses and points downward. All these attachments mean nothing to the Universe, regardless if they seem to work out or not, they are just attachments. Who’s suppose to answer them anyway, God, good luck with that. Things will always work out the way they work out; the Universe (life) doesn’t really care if they do or don’t. Attachments are only held onto because they’re thought to be needed. Because life isn’t a respecter of attachments, suffering occurs because that’s what you’ve been conditioned to attach to…

Peaceful Mind View

When there’s awareness of a peaceful mind and you don’t engage in what comes from a noisy mind, it makes for a view of life few people will ever experience…

A view from a noisy mind is very different than a peaceful one; the noisy mind has a much different agenda than being peaceful. Every conflict known to mankind has been because of a noisy mind. You cannot have a conflict when a mind is peaceful. Although a peaceful view aches at times, it’s where all compassion comes from. This is the understanding from a peaceful view, the noisy (conditioned) view can’t grasp. Mind seeing is strictly from the way one is conditioned. A peaceful view arises from the space of Now. I can tell right away when someone comes from a noisy mind view because there’s attachment with what’s being said. Usually the sentences starts with I, me or it will be said, I see what you’re saying, but.

A peaceful mind view doesn’t make you smarter than anyone, all it means is you’ve been granted the vision to see clearly. A peaceful mind view is difficult to see from because of all the distractions in place. These distractions keep you trapped to the reaching of a view from the noisy mind. Reach, reach, reach, a peaceful view needs no such reaching, it realizes its completeness as it is. When your view is peaceful, you become more of an observer than a reactor, at least that’s been my experience. I had a noisy mind existence for many years.  Even today the old conditioning resurfaces, but because of the awareness there’s less engagement with what comes from the noisy mind; this naturally allows a peaceful mind view to arise. When you live from here it makes for a view of life much different than most people will ever experience…

Thoughts of Division

Most people don’t have any idea how much division the Conditioned Mind causes. Until this is realized it’s better to be quiet; when seeing things from quiet there are no thoughts of division…

Watch how thoughts divide as they’re mostly in the context of you, me, them, they, those and of course “I”. It’s not limited to just these, but these are some of the main culprits in the division from each other. The other day I posted an article and someone posted a response saying what was written was incorrect. Although I didn’t appreciate it, there’s a fine line in being with what’s there or allowing there to be division. There’s division on one end which goes without saying, but by me being the one who knows better I have to do what’s necessary to minimize the division; not for the other person, but for myself and humanity as a whole. This may sound grandiose, but it’s not because as energy goes so does the world around you go.

We went round and round with it until it got to a point where lies were being posted so it was better for me to just move on. It’s wasn’t that the person annoyed me, it was more so to stop the division energy that was being put out. Energy makes the world different and it also keeps the world the same. The point of this article is to show how easy it is to attach to something and cause division, and thus suffering. Maybe it’s not so easy to turn the other cheek, but by not attacking back you are the one who remains connected; remember you can’t have a riot with one person. It’s always about the conditioning, never about the person. In this way of viewing things, the energy put out may not seem loving, but at least there’s quiet so it can become loving. Most people don’t have any idea how much division the Conditioned Mind causes. Until this is realized it’s better to be quiet; when seeing things from a place of quiet there are no thoughts of division…

A Fixated Mind

Beyond a fixated mind there’s nothing but space. Why there’s difficulty with this is because life isn’t about what you think it is. In fact it’s about everything you think it isn’t, but it’s not seen because of trying to figure it out with a fixated mind…

Round and round the mind goes and where it stops nobody knows; this is a perfect example of the fixated mind in place for most people. One thought after another, no space, no quietness, just the noise manifesting as fixations. If you could just sit back in the space where the noise subsides, there’s a chance to truly see what Jesus and Buddha spoke of. If you think you have an idea of what life is about I’m sorry to disappoint you, but that’s just a fixation. There are no answers to what life is about, but the more mind based you make your existence, the more you’ll think you have it all figured out. I’m not saying I know what life is about, but I do know what it isn’t about and it has nothing to do with what is seen by the fixated mind. The more fixated you’re by the mind, the less life is experienced. Beyond the mind fixations is the only place where life is truly experienced. You can travel all around the world and make up the story of all the beauty around you, but it’s only a story to provide pleasure and store it as a pleasurable fixation. Beyond the mind fixations no story is needed, no pleasure is needed.

Think about it, your entire life is fixated until one day you no longer exist in your current form. Every fixated experience is taken with you as if they never occurred. They were thought to be needed so you could make sense of your life, but really they mean absolutely nothing because they’re all created from the fixated mind of the senses. Buddha talked about delusion, Jesus spoke of not being of this world, what do you think they were talking about? If you remain trapped to your fixated mind, you’ll remain trapped in your suffering. Even those who think they understand this don’t because it’s not something to understand. Beyond the fixated mind there’s nothing but space and the possibility of truly seeing what life is about. Why there’s difficulty with this is because life isn’t about what you think it is, it’s about everything you think it isn’t, but this isn’t seen because of trying to figure it out with a fixated mind…

Abyss of Loneliness

When the mind settles the need to reach for something lessens. In the process the abyss of loneliness disappears simply because an “I” story of loneliness isn’t being created…

The abyss of loneliness seems to get wider as one ages, but it doesn’t really. What happens is there are just less distractions so “I” takes more of a hold. The natural process of life seems to be to stay busy trying to figure things out. Regardless of what exactly the figuring out is, it certainly creates a lot of distractions. There are periods in between the busyness where a person has some idle time and probably feels the abyss of loneliness, but it doesn’t usually last very long because the busyness of trying to figure out life returns. This busyness last for most of life, but there does come a time that the natural process of being busy lessens. At this stage many people experience a loneliness that hasn’t been noticed before so it will either be addressed by looking inward or one will get busy again trying to figure out how to fill the abyss.

Eventually the busyness will end for whatever reason, but unfortunately for most people without the busyness the abyss of loneliness rears its ugly head. Many elderly people struggle to fill this abyss because there just isn’t a lot going on. Kids are grown, retirement, house paid off, more time behind you than what’s in front, and the list goes on using distraction after distraction. For me, there were very brief periods of not needing to reach, but these periods were far and few in between. That is until sixteen years ago when the abyss engulfed me. I began sitting and looking inward which allowed me to see the distractions of my “I” needing to attach to a story. As I sat, the mind settled and thus needing to reach for something lessened. In the process the abyss of loneliness disappeared and it was simply because an “I” story of loneliness wasn’t created…

Operating Energy

Operating energy determines how you live. If your operating energy is constantly towards yourself, you will be selfish. If you possess the whole world, but aren’t free from self, you’ll remain operating from a self created prison…

Being free from the prison of self requires an operating energy away from self-serving thoughts. When the mind is operating away from these thoughts, there’s a freedom that allows the mind to become unstuck. What makes it get stuck is operating energy that’s mostly on satisfying self in some way. Focus on the sensation of mind, body, and mental formations helps to alleviate the self-serving prison. This is a direct path to how one becomes free from suffering. You can only be free when the operating energy is on what allows freedom, but it’s tricky because to master this takes constant vigilance. It will be your directed operating energy that determines the extent of freedom and that will be the determining factor how your life is lived.

Freedom from suffering is not pain free, it’s learning to be with the pain that arises. You cannot hide from what’s happening, but you can operate from something that anchors you in the Now. To no longer have your operating energy on self is the path to liberation. How this is done is by simply not focusing on self and operating from what will set you free. The self is there and it has been given a name. It has so many other different labels attached to it, but it’s a prison because of the mere fact of the operating energy of attachment. Freedom occurs when there’s an understanding of the lies of self; not in creating concepts or beliefs. Where your energy is operating from determines how you live. If that energy is constantly focused towards self, you will be selfish. If you possess the whole world, but aren’t liberated from self, you’ll remain stuck in the operating energy of a self created prison…

Attached Thinking

Attached thinking keeps you imprisoned in a world where there’s very little freedom because there’s no room for truth. If you want freedom, the attached thinking will have to go…

The more thinking there is about something, the more you’re attached to that thinking. It’s difficult to experience the openness of something if you’ve already decided how it is. To remain open one needs to limit the attachment to their thinking. This is essential if there is be alignment with the Universe and be free from the thinking that you‘re attached to. Being attached to the thinking that has a hold on you will need to be let go of if there’s to be freedom; this hold is very subtle. Even thinking on whether you like this post or not will keep you attached in the same place. This post can resonate with you without attachment, but thinking seems to make the world go round. That doesn’t mean it’s a good thing, but that’s just what I think.

I lived an attached existence that was full of non-beneficial thinking for most of my life, this caused much conflict with people who weren’t attached to the same thinking; wars are started over being attached to different thinking. If you’re really honest with yourself you’ll see that every disagreement you ever had with someone was caused by being attached to a different thinking about something. I’m not saying you shouldn’t stand up for truth, but truly knowing about something and thinking about it is totally different.

There’s a place of no thinking. If it’s not understood, you’ll never become unattached to your thinking and you’ll remain in a merry-go- round existence. When this is the place lived from there’s very little freedom. When you can just be with life as it unfolds and not think it as this or that, you’ll be on the verge of truly experiencing life, thinking free. When you’re not attached thinking, there’s freedom to be with life as it is without the need for a attached thinking that keeps you from knowing the truth…

Loving Experiences

Our human form is the what’s used to experience life so our human form should never be denied. Non attachment to it though is key if one is to live life from loving experiences…

When life begins there aren’t any blocks developed to prevent loving experiences. Slowly though as we grow, blocks are developed by attaching to our human form; this is how we experience life so we should never deny our human form. Non attachment to it is key to living life from loving experiences. The more thought that’s applied to our human form, the less we experience our true essence of love.

It would be easy to say “that’s just the way I am” but no one is just the way they are. We become the way we are by influences and conditioning. It’s very nice to say things like our true essence is to love, but with all the tragic behavior that goes on, it’s probably more accurate to say our true essence is insane.

Everyone goes around forcing their will on whomever they come in contact with and it’s labeled as love; a loving heart never forces anything, it doesn’t need to. This conditioning goes very deep and why this is so is because it’s the foundation of most people’s experience. This is the reason why people reach outside themselves for fulfillment; all to satisfy their human form. Attachment to human form is the only block that prevents loving experiences. Until there’s awareness of this, you will never truly embrace love through your human form. I’m not saying people don’t love, but there’s a lot of selfish attachment in the way most people experience love. Until the mind settles so one embraces their human form and experiences love, the Conditioned Mind will remain in control and living from loving experiences will be fleeting at best. So sit and be still and you just may experience how it’s only in this moment that you can embrace your human form and thus live life from loving experiences…

Divine Guidance

Divine guidance puts you in harmony with life. Understand though it’s not that life does anything to you, but if you’re not guided by the divine it will certainly seem like it does…

Divine guidance is in place to put you in harmony with life and it’s also in place to offer protection against certain behavior. When you’re guided by the divine, its boundaries allow for life to be lived to the fullest. But the mind has to be open and free flowing for guidance from the divine to take place. The heart aligns with the divine, but it’s often missed because the mind comes into play which blocks the awareness of it. The more you’re guided by selfish behaviors, the less chance there is to be guided by the divine. When things are used and abused to satisfy self, this blocks life from being divine. The animal realm is guided naturally, that’s why there’s perfect balance. Unfortunately the human conditioning relies too much on the intellect and not enough on the divine.

Life is guided in one of two ways, either the guidance allows alignment with the divine or not. A quiet mind can see this to a degree and slowly stops doing the things that block the divine from being your guide. As long as you’re alive life will be lived, but in what way determines your actions and consequences. Cheat on your spouse and regardless if you get caught or not you’ll be out of harmony with the divine. So take heed and understand life never does anything to you, but if you‘re not guided by the divine, it will certainly seem like it does…

Everything Passes

Life is dynamic, but sometimes it’s made into a burden as if it’s always going to be this way. This makes life a delusion that what’s happening will never pass, but everything passes…

Making something that’s occurring in the moment as if it’s going to be this way forever is why one gets swept away by a made up burdens. They’re not truly burdens, they just take on the energy they’re given as if what’s occurring right now is always going to be this way. Once the energy of it’s always going to be this way is seen, the tool of “Everything Passes” can be applied. When one is struggling with something the greatest understanding you can have is that it’s your own mind that creates every obstacle to your inner peace regardless of how life unfolds; if this isn’t understood inner peace will never be had.

Everything passes even if what occurs is made permanent by your mind. This goes for everything including life itself so no matter what it is one day it will not be so. Here is one of my favorite examples of this: If you visit a doctor because you’re not feeling well and are told you have a year to live, do you want to die 365 times or once? A mind that‘s settled can see the truth of this and hence the freedom and value of only dying once. Or not and die everyday until the time comes when conditions that support living in this form are no longer met. We are only visitors here regardless of what happens in life and no matter how tight the hold is on something, everything passes…

Inner Unrest

All unrest arises from within yourself; it’s from your own internal mind. Without discipline, the mind will never settle nor will the inner unrest of needing to reach for something externally…

The world is in a state of unrest, but not with each other as you may think, it’s with ourselves. The lack of understanding of your own mind is the cause of all inner unrest; most people haven’t a clue this is the cause of all internal unrest. We lash out at people, have road rage, try to change people, constantly seek to alter the way that we feel because we were never taught how to just be with life as it is, and be with who we are as we are. There would never be a need to have anything or anyone different if you had the ability to just be with life. If you don’t have a certain contentment with the way things are, what makes you think that if things were different there would be contentment; you would still have inner unrest that makes you reach for things externally.

There’s external reaching because you want to alter how you feel. My mind was always in a state of unrest, and because there wasn’t an understanding of the Conditioned Mind, my unrest wasn’t understood. It didn’t matter what happened, by not having the ability to just be, the mind becomes disturbed and inner unrest arises. Nothing causes unrest unless it’s allowed. If something bothers you and it can be changed by all means change it, but it needs to be looked at why there’s unrest to begin with. Even if the thing is changed, without an understanding of your own mind, you will just move onto the next thing which will cause a state of inner unrest to arise once again…

Belief Anchored Mind

When there’s awareness aware of awareness and you don’t give in to what comes from a belief anchored mind, it makes for a view of the heart instead of the head…

A belief anchored mind is very different than what is seen from awareness; the belief centered mind has a different focus than awareness. Everything going on today is because of a belief anchored mind. You cannot have hate when the space of awareness. Although awareness will give in to the world at times, it’s how lessons are learned. This is an understanding from awareness that the conditioned belief anchored mind can’t grasp. The mind sees what it’s conditioned to see. Awareness arises from the space of the present moment.

Awareness doesn’t mean you are better than anyone, what it means is a clear path has been revealed to you. Awareness aware of awareness is difficult to see because of all the distractions in place. These distractions keeps you anchored to the belief that something is needed outside of you. Need, need, need, awareness doesn’t need, it realizes its divinity as it is. When you’re aware of awareness, you become the seer instead of the reactor. I had a belief anchored mind for forty nine years and even today the old beliefs resurface, but because of awareness there’s less attachment to the belief anchored mind; this naturally allows awareness to arise. When you live from awareness it makes for a much different life than living from an anchored belief…

Developed Discipline

Understanding and developing discipline allows for those who were once lost to possibly be found, and those who were once blind to possibly see, but only if there’s developed discipline in place…

If there isn’t some kind of developed discipline in place so your can understand your behavior, it will be difficult to proceed in a direction where there will be any expansion of truth. The first thing to understand is if you even have a practice that develops discipline. I don’t mean the practice of copying another’s way, although there’s nothing wrong with that, but if it’s in place to just keep you busy, it’s not really a practice to develop discipline. Although it is a practice, the discipline for the mind to quiet is what one needs to understand for the continuous expansion of truth. I’m sharing this because this is what has allowed me to be as I am today. There’s no magic to this, developing discipline has to be understood if one is to experience truth results, this is as simple as two plus two equaling four.

Understand your behavior, reactions, attachments, annoyances, and whatnot that it’s the lack of discipline that’s the driving force behind them. This lack of discipline is the driving force that blocks you from expanding beyond the nonsense of the Conditioned Mind. Without discipline in place that allows this to be understood, you might as well not practice at all because it’s just a waste of time and energy. Either do it so it develops discipline or don’t do it at all. You can only be free by understanding what it takes to be free, and only the discipline that puts you in harmony with life allows harmony with life; to me this makes sense. I practiced wrongly (no discipline) for many years and it produced results that weren’t beneficial, but I understand this now and learned from it. Because of this understanding, where I was once lost I’m now found, and where I was once blind I now see, but only because of having a practice that developed discipline…

Focused Energy

The time you’re alive in this form will be occupied by focused energy, what the focus of that energy is determines how your life unfolds and what the output of life will be…

This is very important to see, but then again it’s not so important to see because this isn’t to be made into a story of how you are to live. The focused energy you live by will either be from the heart and one sees this or they don’t; most don’t. When this is the focus, living from the heart naturally becomes the way one lives. Focused energy builds on itself regardless of what it is. To me, this a basic understanding of the “Law of Attraction” I’m not saying this is the way it is, it’s just the understanding that’s been revealed to me. When my energy is focused on stillness what becomes my life’s building blocks are all derived from stillness. This isn’t a doing of mine, it’s a transformation occurring from stillness itself.

What is unfortunate about this is that the opposite is also true, at least this has been my experience. For years my focused energy was based to self-serve and although I mostly got what I wanted, it wasn’t what I was looking for. This is worth repeating: For years my energy was based to self serve and although I mostly got what I wanted, it wasn’t what I was looking for. This self-serving energy also built on itself and it doesn’t take a genius to see why my life was the way it was; my building blocks to self-serve manifested in the only way they could. What focused energy is in place will be what manifests, sorry about this, but there’s no way around it; you can only be what the focus of your energy is.

Sit with this and investigate what the focus of your energy is and see how it builds on itself. Life doesn’t make it what it is, the energy of one’s focus makes life what it is. To a large degree we are all the creators of our own reality and that reality will be what the focus of our energy is; there are exceptions to this, but for the most part this is true. Positive, negative, noisy, quiet, which one of these will build the kind of life you want to live? It’s not up to the outside circumstances that determines this. It’s the focused energy the outside circumstance are given that determines how they are dealt with, how they are built on, and the way future circumstances will be dealt with. You can only build upon the energy that you are focused on and you can only be that energy. The life you build is up to you, you alone are the creator of your reality, for the most part…
