You will always be led by the things you seek. What those things are based in will determine the results of your actions. What is reaped is what is sown…
Many things that are done are deemed spiritual and on the surface they may actually look that way, but if they’re an action from the mortal side their results don’t allow for true spiritual guidance. The mortal side makes for a misguided sense of well-being which has to constantly be fed to remain fulfilled; spiritual well-being needs no such feeding. When you can just be and not have the need to do, you’ll be fulfilled constantly and you won’t have to do anything for this to occur.
This is very difficult to grasp because of the way the Conditioned Mind has been developed; it goes back to the beginning of time. True spirituality produces results based in being, the mortal side produces results based in doing. When there’s doing, actions result from the senses which are mortal. When there’s being, actions result in spiritual nature; when guided by being it’s the love of creation that produces love results in our daily actions. All the accomplishing and doing in one’s life time will not result in the true sense of well-being you get from simply being. It may produce money and material success and if that’s your goal that’s fine, but don’t think for an instant that you can serve two masters…
