Thought Awareness

Thoughts are neither right nor wrong, but there are some that are more loving. If there’s thought awareness and there isn’t attachment, the ones that aren’t loving will dissipate as passing clouds…

Thoughts come and go just as passing clouds. If you’ve ever sat and watched clouds, you’ve noticed the clouds eventually dissipate; here one minute, gone the next. It’s the same when there’s thought awareness, they arise, there’s no denying that, but unless there’s attachment to them, they dissipate. The question to ask is are your thoughts loving? Your answer is a key factor in how you will live your life. Let’s say you have a thought to do something unloving, if there isn’t thought awareness the benefit factor of it and the next step becomes an unloving action.

There’s no way to be in the thoughtless realm continuously, at least this has been my experience, it’s more so to learn if your thoughts are loving or not. If there isn’t thought awareness this won’t be noticed and unloving actions will be more in control. This is because most minds unconsciously default to satisfying yourself which doesn’t allow the objectivity one gets from thought awareness. When there isn’t thought awareness, they arise one right after the other and the mind gets cloudier and cloudier. Eventually there will be attachment; most likely it will be to unloving thoughts. Only with a settled mind can there be thought awareness and when there is, it allows for the energy to live life in the most loving of ways…

Seeking Fulfillment

For many fulfillment is something that’s constantly sought and it’s a direct link to what keeps the mind in a state of agitation. When things are accepted as they are, seeking fulfillment is no longer necessary…

We live in a fulfillment cultured society. When it’s cold we desire warmth and when it’s hot we desire to be cool. Chasing after this fulfillment is how so many spend their entire lives. If it’s not learned to be with what happens and not constantly push it away, there will be very little peace in one’s life. Most live in a place where they’re afraid of being unfulfilled because it means facing themselves. Although our true essence is the love of all creation, this isn’t seen because the Conditioned Mind doesn’t allow it to be so.

Once discipline is developed that allows you to at least slow the mind down a bit, it can be seen how chasing after fulfillment occupies most of your waking hours; you’re in a constant fix it mode of trying to have things the way you think they need to in order to be at peace. The problem with this is nothing stays the same so you have to constantly make adjustments. It’s truly exhausting to live in this way, but it’s the way most live. It doesn’t have to be this way, but the only way it won’t be is if you can be with what occurs and not want it any different than what it is. This doesn’t mean you can’t have fulfillment, just understand being fulfilled isn’t what allows you to be at peace. Only accepting things as they are will allow peace, and that’s only because you see the fulfillment in that…

Selfish Habits

As we grow up we’re conditioned in a selfish way that allows for our habits to be as they are. Simply put, if our selfish habits were based in love humanity would be much different…

As I look back, I see how many of my habits arose from selfish conditioning, this was just part of what was there growing up. Nothing particularly right or wrong in this, especially because there wasn’t much that could have been done differently. It’s very difficult to act in a loving manner if that’s not what’s in place growing up. Some things are learned naturally, but everything takes some conditioning associated with it. If you’re learning how to golf, at first it’s awkward with no knowledge as to the best way to swing a club, but the more you do it the more awareness of how to swing there is. This way of learning is beneficial when what you’re learning is based in love. Part of the problem is when what becomes habit isn’t based in love because unfortunately it seems natural. This is why it’s so hard to change. I knew what was right (loving) and what was wrong (selfish) growing up, but doing what was loving was not what I was conditioned to do so being selfish became natural for me; there wasn’t anybody to tell me different.

To say the least, these selfish habits caused much suffering because there wasn’t any room for much else to be seen. This is the merry-go-round most people are unknowingly on and it’s a direct result of why humanity is the way that it is. If we all grew up with our habits based in loved, humanity would be much different, it’s that simple. I know this because fifteen years ago I began seeing things differently (of love) and lo and behold things began changing. It doesn’t mean it’s always this way, but just as it is with learning to swing a golf club properly, it takes practice. And for me it’s done so the loving behavior becomes as natural as the selfish habits were…

Liberal Minded View

There’s not much life in a liberal minded view. What happens with a liberal view is one’s free flowing energy is cut off which causes everyone to suffer…

A liberal minded view is what causes one to get locked into only seeing things from the side of suffering. It matters little what that liberal minded view is, as it’s the rigidness of being in a liberal mode that doesn’t allow free flowing energy. The is what happens when a story is created and it becomes the liberal view of what life is about in any particular moment. This becomes deeply ingrained as one becomes emotionally tied into whatever the liberal view is focused on. It’s very difficult to not attach to something that is held dear to our hearts, such as our children, spouse, parents, relatives, friends and so on, but you can have compassion, passion, and genuine love for something without attaching to it and being liberal minded.

To me, being liberal minded is the normal view of many people and it’s why many suffer unnecessarily. I’ve noticed this occurring in so many lives and I can see the suffering it’s causing. Unfortunately those in the midst of this liberal view cannot see it. Nor can one pull themselves out of it until the liberal minded view is seen as the cause of suffering. The liberal view doesn’t allow the openness needed to be free from attachment, and since attachment is the root of suffering, suffering is inevitable. The tighter the grip of something the more one becomes liberal minded and the less free flowing energy there is in one’s life. There’s not much life in a liberal minded view because what happens is one’s free flowing energy is cut off; this view always causes suffering…

Nonsensical Mindset

Everyone begins existence complete, it’s just that not many realize it, hence the need to reach for it. Most people have a nonsensical mindset so the reaching seems natural, but it’s not…

Constantly having a need to reach for things keeps you in the grip of reaching because it creates a nonsensical mindset. The reason why reaching is done is to try and remove the nonsensical mindset, but the reaching is what keeps the nonsensical mindset in place. Only by looking inward does the nonsensical mindset begin to dissipate. What happens is it dissipates because the reachings hold weakens. Years of conditioning makes the nonsensical mindset almost impossible to change and it’s unfortunate because many never get beyond this. I did say almost impossible because the slightest turning inward is all that’s needed. Once reaching outside ceases as the nonsensical mindset is exposed, looking inward becomes the way and it has a ball rolling down a hill effect; it just naturally picks up momentum.

Outside reaching is used as a distraction so one doesn’t have to look at themselves. The greatest lie we tell ourselves and constantly reinforce it is we need things from the outside to be complete, but there’s nothing further from the truth. Everyone begins existence complete, it’s just that not many realize it, hence the need to reach for it. People have many nonsensical mindsets throughout their lives so the reaching seems natural, but it’s not. We’re not meant to have a nonsensical mindset, it happens because of the conditioning we develop. Once the slightest opening occurs everything changes because the inward view reveals truth. And although we live a lie for most of our lives, when truth is revealed the nonsensical mindset dissipates as truth sets you free…

Sheepish Rut

A mind that gets stuck in a sheepish rut doesn’t just happen, it takes many years of mindless conditioning to create. It’s deeply ingrained in the subconscious and will take much willingness to get out of this sheepish rut…

To not get sheepishly stuck in the rut of daily routines of everyday life, each day has to be viewed as new so a message of love can be brought into it. Not a single act from yesterday, good, bad, or indifferent can be undone. Our mistakes, if that’s how they’re labeled, are the results of being sheepishly stuck which have been put in place to cope with things as they occur. If you’re not mindful of love, how can you expect your reactions to be of love? This is only considered bad in the sense that it causes suffering because of the energy emitted from a reaction that isn’t based in love.

This energy is the sheepishly rut energy of a so called mundane life, but life is anything but mundane. This sheepishly rut energy doesn’t allow one to take advantage of opportunities to be the instrument of love. Our sheepish perceptions create ruts which take away our objectivity in living life. Things really aren’t as we think. Our life may be lived by our thoughts, but this is the created delusion Buddha described. When we can stop having a sheepishly stuck in a rut mindset of putting everything in our little perception box, we will begin to fill life up with love and eventually the sheepish ruts will not exist. As this happens, each and everyday will be a new beginning because there won’t be any sheepish ruts created to get stuck in…

Operating Vibration

When you’re not being controlled by outside things therein lies your freedom, but it isn’t freedom because life is the way that it’s wanted, there’s freedom because your operating vibration is with life as it is…

The operating vibration that controls your life makes life what it is, but it doesn’t truly make life what it is, it makes YOUR life what it is. Until the operating vibration in place puts you in harmony with life, there won’t be any and hence your life will be out of sorts because it’s the way you’re making it. It’s actually a beautiful thing when you become aware of this because it puts your life in your hands; there’s nothing more a person could want. When you’re not being controlled by outside things therein lies your freedom, but it isn’t freedom because life is the way that it’s wanted, there’s freedom because your operating vibration is with life as it is.

What happens with the mind that has an operating vibration not based in love is it gets hijacked by its own conditioning as you’re held hostage by your own mind. I know this sounds crazy, but this is exactly what happens, and it’s all because of the operating vibration based to self serve. When the operating vibration in place is controlled by a me, me, me mind, chaos is the norm or so it seems, but it’s only because of the chaotic operating vibration. When the operating vibration transforms to love the craziness subsides. When you sit and see what the base of your vibration is, you just may be able to change it. It will take some time though because of the conditioning in place, but the alternative is to remain as you are being controlled by operating vibration that holds you hostage…
